Lukewarm water, a little mild soap and a soft brush get your shoes clean again:
- Take out the laces and the insole.
- Brush off loose dirt, such as sand or dried mud, with a soft brush.
- Gently clean the mesh with lukewarm water and a little mild soap or detergent, using a soft brush or cloth. Rinse with clean water.
- Wash the laces in the same soapy water and wipe the insole with a slightly damp cloth.
- Let everything air-dry at room temperature, out of direct sunlight.
Better not
Do not dry your shoes with heat: no radiator, tumble dryer or hairdryer. Heat can deform the shoe and loosen the glue. Do not scrub hard or use harsh cleaning products either.
Sweat stains on white shoes? Use the same method. Sometimes you need to repeat it a few times.
